Role Overview: The General Merchandise and Food Sales team is responsible for ensuring a consistent experience for guests by managing product availability, pricing accuracy, and promotional signage across all General Merchandise areas. This team also oversees Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, ensuring a fresh and safe food experience.
As a leader in this role, you will gain valuable skills and experiences, including:
- Understanding guest service fundamentals and fostering a guest-first culture.
- Retail business essentials, such as sales trends, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
- Planning daily and weekly workloads to meet business priorities and sales goals.
- Driving process improvements and enhancing workload efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Your daily activities will vary, but typical responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating a service culture that prioritizes guest experiences.
- Modeling, training, and coaching team members to meet service standards.
- Executing workload to achieve department and store sales goals, including merchandising and pricing.
- Collaborating with the Executive Team Leader to understand operational procedures and their impact on profitability and inventory accuracy.
- Empowering your team to create a consistent guest experience.
- Assessing reporting to identify gaps in processes and developing improvement plans.
- Leading operational processes for inbound, outbound, replenishment, and pricing.
- Creating scheduling plans based on business workload and guest traffic.
- Evaluating candidates for open positions and leading team onboarding.
- Establishing clear goals and holding team members accountable.
- Demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
