Production Management Internship

The Production Management Internship is a hands-on training experience at Menards, offering a unique opportunity to work directly with an experienced management team. You will be placed in one of our production facilities to gain valuable skills and knowledge in Lean/Continuous Improvement, Safety, SOP writing, process improvement, quality, efficiency, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Contribute to process improvement projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality and efficiency goals
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Industrial Management, or Technical Management
  • Available to work 40 hours per week during the summer or 20-32 hours per week during the academic school year
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Desire to pursue a management career
