Job Summary:

The Process Technician will work in a process or continuous manufacturing environment, operating equipment, monitoring machinery, and documenting results in strict adherence to protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cycle in and troubleshoot processes to meet quality standards.
  • Monitor process parameters, paying close attention to detail, and document information onto process monitoring logs.
  • Assist die setters with mold changes and communicate concerns to supervisors and quality assurance personnel.
  • Transport molds to and from the tool room and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Assist supervisors in meeting production schedules through machine utilization, efficiency, and part quality.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of plastics and plastic injection molding processes.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking during an 8-hour shift.
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
