Loan Operations Specialist

Cyfle is seeking a highly skilled Loan Operations Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of loan operations, including capturing credit-related transactions, maintaining operational ledgers, and handling domestic loan administrative work.
Key Responsibilities- Follow established guidelines for day-to-day operational and administrative work, with some independent thought required to handle complex issues.
- Capture credit-related transactions and payments in ATLAS, and maintain operational ledgers and files in accordance with the bank's policy.
- Handle domestic loan administrative work, including funding arrangements, preparing information sheets, and processing payments, based on instructions received from agent banks and/or lending front office.
- Process assigned non-routine loan activities, such as purchases, refinancing, amendments, terminations, and sales, and establish new customers and facilities in Loantel/Nicotel, ATLAS, and Loan Management Systems as necessary.
- Monitor and apply incoming fees and interest payments, investigate cash discrepancies, and claim compensation when necessary.
- Ensure all cash movements are properly recorded on the Cash Position Sheet and reported to Funds Transfer and other relevant departments according to procedure.
- Conduct daily Nostro reconcilement and prepare various information sheets, tickets, and confirmation forms for JCF transactions based on written instructions.
- Handle back-office operations for bonds acquired by the Lending Group, including capturing new bond products, processing purchase, sale, redemption, and coupon payments, and timely funding of floating bonds.
- Prepare various reports as requested by supervisors and report irregularities in a timely manner.
- Participate in the Loan IQ Project by revisiting processes and workflows, creating and testing scenarios, providing training, updating manuals, and performing other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience.
- 2+ years of experience in loan operations in a bank, with experience with bilateral loans using Loan IQ required and syndicated loans experience highly desirable.
- Basic accounting knowledge and good mathematical aptitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Email and Calendar, Word, Excel, Access, Teams, and SharePoint.
