About the Role

At Apple, we're revolutionizing entire industries with innovative products and services. As a Manufacturing Design Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing high-precision mechanical fabrication processes in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-precision mechanical fabrication processes
  • Audit existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive open issues to solution
  • Drive ambiguous problems to quantifiable solutions
  • Develop and maintain process knowledge and design
Requirements
  • 2+ years of mechanical and/or manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of processes including machining, welding, stamping, forging, plating, and other forming/finishing methods
  • Experience with data analysis through JMP or Minitab
  • Ability to drive a tight schedule and define micro schedules
