General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the community, adhering to governing documents, Board policies, and regulatory requirements. This includes managing staff, vendors, and building systems, as well as maintaining strong relationships with the Board, committees, and residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise building staff, including engineering and front desk personnel.
- Develop staffing plans and budgets for Board approval.
- Ensure compliance with fire, life, and safety regulations, and maintain operable systems.
- Respond to resident requests for maintenance or compliance issues.
- Prepare and post Board meeting agendas, and create concise board meeting packets.
- Approve and code vendor invoices, and audit recurring contracts.
- Monitor the financial position of the Association, and present monthly financial reports.
- Lead the Board in developing short-term and long-range plans, and develop recommendations for specific action plans.
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- CCAM, CMCA, or PCAM designation preferred.
- A minimum of three years HOA management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deal with conflict.
