Job Summary
DeCicco & Sons is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Apprentice to join our team. As a Meat Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of an experienced cutter to develop and refine your cutting skills, ensuring the highest quality meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meat for display on the sales floor, adhering to company standards.
- Stock, price, rotate, and place product on meat displays according to DeCicco & Sons standards.
- Maintain sanitation standards in the backroom, cooler, and sales area.
- Wash, trim, and wrap products to ensure freshness and quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Requirements
- Ability to work on a team and provide excellent customer service.
- Good oral communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on feet for extended periods.
