Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer I is responsible for producing pricing and construction design packages and providing technical support to the construction project teams. This role requires strong system and application skills, with a focus on developing conceptual design strategies and associated documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce Engineering Documents: Develop pricing design documents and construction design documents, with a focus on establishing budgets and documenting value engineering for projects.
  • Conceptual Design: Develop conceptual design strategies and associated documentation.
  • Technical Support for Operations: Assist senior engineers in providing solutions to operations teams for ongoing projects, including code research, product research, detail drawings, and calculations.
  • Mentoring of Other Employees: Provide mentoring to other employees, either within or outside of the department.
  • Public Speaking: Present to groups of three or more.
Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Travel Requirements: 0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, climbing stairs, remaining in a stationary position, and repeating motions.
