Are you ready to help us lift anything and reach new heights in your career? We are seeking a R&D Mechanical Engineer Technician to work in our Oklahoma City, OK facility. This position reports to the Engineer lead R&D.

Your Responsibilities
  • Review project instructions and prints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, and objectives, and test nature of technical problems such as redesign.
  • Review limited project instructions and specifications to identify, modify, and plan requirements for fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate proposals for improving equipment performance.
  • Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
  • Calculate required capacities for equipment of proposed system to obtain specified performance and submit data to engineering personnel for approval.
  • Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test methods.
  • Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, electrical output, and input at specific operating temperature to analyze parts performance.
Your Qualifications
  • Associate degree (or other 2-year degree) preferred or similar work experience.
  • Post-Secondary Certificate - awarded for training completed after high school (for example, mechanic and repair technologies, or ASE (automotive service excellence)).
  • Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
  • Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.
  • Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Writing computer programs for various purposes.
  • Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs.
  • Ability to trouble shoot hydraulic and electronic systems.
  • Minor MIG welding skills as required.
  • Ability to operate a lathe and a mill.
  • Ability to use Plotter printers.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
