Food Scientist

At Golden State Foods, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Scientist to join our team. As a Food Scientist, you will play a critical role in the development of new products, product line extensions, and product/process improvements.

• Develop and implement effective product development strategies to meet customer needs and company objectives.
• Lead the development of new products, product line extensions, and product/process improvements, ensuring compliance with established quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of product development projects.
• Provide technical support to operations teams, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field of science from an accredited college or university.
• 3-5 years of food experience, with a strong understanding of food chemistry, food safety, and related regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of food processing equipment, food testing concepts and techniques, and product development.

• Experience in interacting with customers and providing technical support.
• Knowledge of HACCP programs and related food safety regulations and processes.
• Ability to lead through actions and provide technical direction to others.
