We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team at Immigration Law PLLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law and be fluent in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist attorneys with preparing and filing immigration-related documents, including petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
- Manage client cases, including preparing case files, monitoring case status, and updating clients on the progress of their case.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs and memoranda on immigration-related issues.
- Assist with client communications and document requests, including drafting correspondence, responding to client inquiries, and preparing legal forms and documents.
- Maintain accurate and complete case files, including electronic and paper records, and ensure that all deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with outside parties, including government agencies, clients, and other law firms, as needed.
- Assist with the management of the department's calendar, including scheduling appointments and court appearances.
- 3+ years of experience working as a legal assistant in an immigration law office.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.
- Fluency in Spanish required.
We offer a competitive starting salary of $45,000 - $75,000 (based on experience) and a comprehensive benefits package, including top-tier health insurance, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, free on-site parking, and professional development opportunities.
