Five Star Painting is looking for a Sales Estimator to enhance our team. In this position, you will be tasked with following up on leads, delivering accurate estimates to prospective clients, and finalizing agreements to transform our clients' spaces with quality paint.

We will supply you with leads; your primary responsibility will be to nurture these opportunities until closure. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to generate your own leads. The most successful estimators are those who invest time in developing a strong relationship with the customer. By adhering to our established protocols at Five Star Painting, you will effectively secure new business while enjoying the outdoors and managing your income.

This role operates on a commission basis, making it essential for you to be comfortable with the idea of controlling your earnings.

As a Sales Estimator, your main focus will be on estimating projects. To excel in this role, you will need to:

  • Clearly communicate expectations to clients.
  • Prepare detailed written proposals and documentation.
  • Follow up with potential clients.
  • Support marketing efforts by promoting Five Star Painting.
  • Proactively generate referrals from existing clients and new leads.
  • Secure new business to drive revenue growth.

Requirements for Success:

  • A positive attitude is crucial—do not let customer rejections discourage you.
  • Be organized, detail-oriented, and strive for high accuracy in estimates.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with clients.
  • Be a team player who can also work independently when needed.
  • Have access to reliable transportation for client visits.
  • Prior experience in home service sales is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints is an added advantage.
