Your Role:
As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and reassessments of patients
- Developing tailored care plans to meet individual patient needs
- Administering medications and maintaining accurate documentation
- Providing education to patients and families
- Ensuring proper maintenance of medical equipment
- Communicating effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient needs
You will be responsible for respiratory care, ventilator management, and continuous monitoring of patients. As the primary coordinator, you will facilitate well-coordinated care among various disciplines and assess discharge planning needs in collaboration with your healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire
- One to two years of clinical nursing experience preferred
- ICU experience is highly desirable
