Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Therapist to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a Speech-Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
- Therapy and Intervention: Provide evidence-based therapy to improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities in students.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Education and Support: Educate students, parents, and other healthcare professionals on speech-language disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies for improvement.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
To be successful as a Speech-Language Therapist with Soliant Health, you will require:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Previous clinical experience in diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Passion, patience, and empathy for individuals with speech and language challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
As a Speech-Language Therapist with Soliant Health, you can expect a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
