- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, using active listening and empathetic skills to build trust and rapport.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- Successful completion of general and unit-specific orientation and hospital probationary period.
- Obtains/maintains a minimum of 12 contact hours of continuing education annually, including Fire Safety and BLS/CPR recertification.
