As a Risk Assurance Specialist at SeatGeek, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our business and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. We are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to support the Sr Director of Internal Audit in planning and executing our internal audit services.

This role involves working closely with internal and external audit teams, providing guidance to business stakeholders, and participating in designing future-state audit programs. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing audit projects, assessments, and investigations, and supporting our global SOX program execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute audit projects, assessments, and investigations
  • Support global SOX program execution, including risk assessment, scoping, and testing
  • Align efforts with external auditors and ensure conclusion consistency
  • Develop internal controls and identify gaps that may lead to financial reporting risks
  • Train employees on Company policies and internal control requirements
  • Maintain excellent relationships with team members, partners, and leaders across the business
  • Prepare periodic update reports to the Audit Committee and senior management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Active CPA, CIA, or related designation
  • 7+ years of experience in professional audit/SOX capacity with Big 4 public accounting firm and public company experience
  • Prior experience executing a company's SOX program and designing a system of internal controls
  • Extensive knowledge of internal control framework (COSO 2013) and solid understanding of control design and operational efficiency
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management and organization skills

The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $150,000 based on factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
