Floor Inspector

We are seeking a skilled Floor Inspector to join our team at Greenwood Mills, Inc. in the Cloth Room. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for inspecting cloth for defects and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

• Patrol the weave room to inspect cloth for defects and record findings on the loom computer.
• Collaborate with fixers and associates to identify and correct defects in a timely manner.
• Fill out tickets and inform supervisors to ensure that defects are addressed promptly.
• Responsible for obtaining swatches of changed styles and following up on looms that have been turned in for seconds.
• Must be able to read and write legibly, follow written and verbal instructions, and distinguish colors and defects.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and follow safety rules prescribed by the plant.

• Ability to work and communicate effectively with fixers and associates to minimize seconds.
• Knowledge of fabric formation on the loom and ability to recognize first-quality and off-quality defects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet plant work schedules and attendance requirements.
