Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic finance professional to join our IT ERP Deployment & Governance Team as a Project Financial Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager of IT - ERP Budget & Spend Management. In this capacity, you will assist in various initiatives within our Global SAP S/4 HANA Transformation by overseeing expenditures and managing the governance of substantial investments. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across IT, Finance, and GBS, managing project financials, including actuals allocation and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, tracking expenditures against capital budget allocations.
  • Monitor ongoing Year-To-Go (YTG) forecasts and any additional/unbudgeted expenses, reviewing with the Project Manager.
  • Record goods receipts and follow up on expected recharges before period-end close. Review actuals during the period close to ensure all anticipated charges are recorded.
  • Understand the specifics of CapEx, OpEx, and Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) according to accounting guidelines.
  • Submit contracts and statements of work to Procurement for approvals and purchase order processing.
  • Obtain approvals for received invoices and process them for payment, following up with vendors for timely invoice submissions.
  • Facilitate strategic long-term planning and budget preparation for subsequent years.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of CapEx and OpEx accounting and policies.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining cash flow forecasts.
  • Proven track record in tracking actual expenditures against forecasted budgets and identifying variances.
  • Ability to meet monthly financial deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience in a large global FMCG organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT systems or experience with SAP, Ariba, and SRM is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Passionate about leading the SAP Central Finance implementation and driving transformative solutions.
