Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Meet the requirements for a caregiver, as outlined in The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services' Minimum Standard Rules for childcare centers.
  • Current certification in Infant/Child First Aid and CPR.
  • Ability to relate to children in a positive manner and communicate effectively with parents.
  • Knowledgeable about the needs of young children and able to work well under pressure.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work early mornings or late evenings, manage high to moderate levels of stress, and work in standard school conditions. The successful candidate will be required to lift 40 lbs. and carry supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment, as well as maintain composure and avoid inappropriate displays of anger.
