Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of behavioral health concerns in children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including consultation and brief interventions, to help patients achieve their health goals.
- Collaborate with medical providers and staff to provide consultative support and ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in professional development and meetings to support our integrated healthcare model.
- Identify patients at risk of developing health problems and provide preventive interventions to address their needs.
- Assist the primary care team in developing care management processes to improve self-management of chronic conditions.
- A Doctoral or Master's Degree in a mental health field from an accredited graduate program and a license for independent practice in Massachusetts (Licensed Psychologist, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) is required.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families is required.
- Experience in pediatric primary care or other pediatric medical settings is preferred.
- Experience in behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, and brief, solution-focused interventions is highly desirable.
