Product Strategy Manager

Functions Supervised: None
Primary Functions: Collaborate with all stakeholders, both internal and external to the product team, to effectively create and implement product strategies and roadmaps. Formulate user stories, refine backlogs, and serve as the representative voice of the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison for product owners, development teams, and relevant stakeholders to ensure successful execution of product strategies and roadmaps from conception to production. This includes the creation or coordination of user journeys, product design, features, stories, roadmaps, and value metrics.
- Facilitate communication between the Product Development Team and Product Manager, along with related stakeholders.
- Coordinate product design efforts with designers and end-users.
- Develop comprehensive customer journey maps.
- Engage in defining features and user stories.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
- Organize features and user stories into product releases that maximize business value.
- Create a product roadmap based on the strategic plans of the product manager.
- Update the strategy committee on the progress of the product roadmap.
- Establish business value metrics that quantify the benefits of the product roadmap.
- Continuously assess and report to all stakeholders the business value achieved by the product.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Equivalent management and technology certifications
Experience/Skills: A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in Information Technology, particularly in application and infrastructure systems. Must possess a solid understanding of project management, agile development, enterprise architecture, and lifecycle management methodologies. Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology and product development is required. A proactive self-starter with exceptional project management and development skills is necessary. Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Outstanding communication, creative thinking, and collaborative skills are crucial for engaging, influencing, and inspiring all stakeholders using user-centered design principles. A high degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability is expected. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.

Compensation
Product Owner (Category 06)
Salary Pay Range: $91,210 - $155,919 annually. The starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable, and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
