We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our production team in a fast-paced refrigerated food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate food production activities, planning work schedules and assignments to meet production goals.
- Set clear expectations and goals for team members, provide training and support, and measure performance against objectives.
- Prioritize work to ensure company objectives are met and remove barriers that may prevent the team from reaching objectives.
- Demonstrate responsibility and reliability, working across departments to partner with Quality, Distribution, Safety, and other functions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and other regulatory processes.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and other plant and employee documentation.
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Food industry experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic PC skills and Microsoft Office applications experience.
- Ability to work evening and/or weekend shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
The production environment may be wet or dry, with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F. Lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 50 lbs. may be required. Long periods of standing or walking on a manufacturing floor are also expected.
