Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent service to residents in the dining room, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Set up and clean up the dining room for meal service, including preparing tables, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Take attendance at meals and offer residents beverages prior to meal service.
  • Ensure that food orders are correct and serve meals in courses as often as possible.
  • Monitor resident satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage Director, Dining Room Supervisor, Cooks, and fellow dining staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Follow community policies and procedures regarding safety standards, food sanitation, and resident care.
  • Maintain a positive, welcoming, and accommodating attitude towards residents at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift a 25-pound tray overhead and move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Flu and COVID vaccines recommended.
Working Conditions

The Server will work in a fast-paced dining environment, interacting with residents, staff, and vendors. The position requires the ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.

Salary and Benefits

The Server position offers a competitive hourly rate of $14.00 and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
