Shift Supervisor

The Shift Leader is a key role in ensuring the success of our restaurant operations. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Coach Team Members: Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Ensure Quality and Safety Standards: Verify that team members are adhering to quality and safety standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee daily operations, including managing inventory, scheduling, and customer service.
- Resolve Conflicts and Issues: Address conflicts and issues in a fair and timely manner, and provide support to team members as needed.
- Hold Team Members Accountable: Ensure that team members are held accountable for their tasks and responsibilities.
- Conduct Zone Walks: Conduct regular zone walks to ensure that tasks are being completed and that team members are following procedures.
- Review Deployment Charts: Review deployment charts to ensure that team members are in the right places and that tasks are being completed efficiently.
- Execute Back-of-House Shift Change Procedures: Ensure that back-of-house shift change procedures are executed smoothly and efficiently.
- Complete Assessments: Complete regular assessments of each zone to ensure that tasks are being completed and that team members are following procedures.
- Plan and Assign Breaks: Plan and assign breaks for team members to ensure that they have adequate time to rest and recharge.
- 1+ Years Supervisory Experience: Preferably in a food service or retail environment with profit & loss accountability, schedule writing, and team member development.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to coach and guide team members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Conflict Resolution Skills: Ability to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of Safety and Quality Standards: Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the food industry, including food safety checklists and verification of adherence to standards.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to execute shift changes and zone assessments efficiently and effectively.
- Temperatures: Withstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more.
- Physical Activity: Move throughout the restaurant for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per day), move 50 lbs. for distances of up to 10 feet, balance and move up to 25 lbs. for distances of up to 50 feet.
- Sensory Requirements: Understand and respond to team members' and guests' requests in a loud environment, stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell.
