Join Our Team:

As a vital member of our clinic team, the Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by executing patient care tasks that promote efficient, high-quality care and enhance patient experiences at Summit Pacific.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant training program.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure from the Washington State Department of Health.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of medical assistant duties and scope of practice; proficiency in patient care techniques.
  • Skilled in using current technology, including Microsoft Office, and capable of learning electronic medical records and other systems.
  • Familiarity with Medical Terminology.
  • Ability to maintain precise and timely documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Capacity to handle diverse assignments requiring independent judgment, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for fostering effective working relationships with healthcare providers, colleagues, and patients.

Compensation:

This position is part of a union, offering a competitive pay rate starting at $30.86 per hour, based on experience.
