Your Role in Our Mission
As a Youth Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in cultivating a positive workplace culture for staff and creating a welcoming, productive environment for our club members. Below is a summary of the key responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Provide strategic guidance for program implementation and ensure that organizational objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee a wide array of programs within a designated club, including Education, Special Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere within the club.
  • Lead community engagement and outreach initiatives, building strong relationships within the community.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of youth development leaders and staff.
  • Manage facility utilization to ensure safety and security.

Key Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a Level II Background Check.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization, with a focus on planning and supervising activities tailored to the developmental needs of teenagers.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in youth services, family support, or K-12 educational environments.
  • Exemplary communication skills and a positive, enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Strong emotional intelligence along with excellent interpersonal and relational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet navigation.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification or the ability to obtain these certifications.
  • Experience in youth development with a high level of energy, adaptability, and work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multifaceted projects alongside daily responsibilities.
