About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cellular Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Apple. As a member of our silicon design group, you will be responsible for designing and developing simulation models for innovative PHY signal processing and control algorithms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and document project concepts, model architecture, interfaces, and APIs.
  • Design and implement 4G/5G PHY models for pre-silicon simulation and verification.
  • Perform functional and performance verification of PHY models using internal and 3rd Party test tools.
  • Contribute to link-level simulator modeling, meaningful metric testing, and Base Station Model architecture and design.
  • Define PHY test cases for new features and drive bring-up and issue resolution.
  • Design and develop robust multi-threaded algorithms with hard real-time constraints, leveraging multi-core processors.
  • Perform real-time profiling and optimization, including necessary redesign of existing implementations.
  • Contribute to simulator configuration management and perform SW releases.
