Role Summary
The Store Operations Leader (SOL) is responsible for overseeing all operational elements at the store level to fulfill the company's objectives, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive sales growth. The SOL leads the store operations team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities
The Store Operations Leader is tasked with:
- Building, coaching, and sustaining a high-performing store team aligned with the company's vision, mission, and values.
- Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and developing team members to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Acting as a role model and mentor in all areas related to customer and team member interactions.
- Setting performance goals, providing coaching, and implementing performance improvement plans as necessary.
- Making employment decisions regarding the operations team, including hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborating with the Store Director to optimize staffing in line with customer traffic and sales metrics.
- Reviewing and communicating store financial performance, developing budgets, and executing strategies to enhance profitability.
- Overseeing daily task management, ensuring all team members are scheduled effectively and tasks are completed promptly.
- Managing store opening and closing procedures, ensuring operational readiness and security.
- Leading the freight and stocking processes, ensuring timely and safe handling of merchandise.
- Addressing customer concerns promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Conducting regular team meetings to discuss customer satisfaction, team development, inventory management, and loss prevention.

Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of management experience or equivalent experience within the company.
- Proven experience leading teams of 10 or more across multiple departments.
- Familiarity with managing annual revenue or operating budgets of at least $5 million.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated reliability and ethical behavior.
- Ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing business needs.
