**Position Overview**

We are thrilled to present a remarkable opportunity to become part of a prominent manufacturer specializing in water and wastewater treatment solutions. We are in search of skilled metal fabricators and welders to enhance our workforce. Your primary duties will encompass the fabrication and welding of ASME code tanks, filtration systems, piping, and various structural components based on technical drawings and production directives. Additionally, you will be tasked with assembling smaller components, which may range from 3 to 4 parts up to 20 to 30 parts.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Fabricate and weld ASME code tanks and filtration systems

- Operate preheat-cutting torches, stud welders, and hand plasma torches

- Select appropriate welding wire, shielding gases, and adjust wire feed speeds and voltage to maintain optimal arc conditions

- Interpret and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints

- Utilize small tools and measuring devices effectively

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in various welding techniques including FCAW, GMAW, GMAW-P, TIG, GTAW, SAW, SMAW, and Carbon Arc welding

+ Expertise in fabricating and welding ASME code tanks and filtration systems

+ Competence in operating preheat-cutting torches, stud welders, and hand plasma torches

+ Ability to select suitable wire, shielding gases, and adjust wire feed speeds and voltage

+ Strong capability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

+ Familiarity with small tools and measuring instruments

**Work Environment**

This position is situated within a manufacturing setting, where you may encounter diverse weather conditions. The temperature may vary significantly based on the season. Safety is paramount; therefore, steel-toed footwear, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts are mandatory. Personal protective equipment such as gloves and goggles will be provided. Two shift options are available: the first shift operates from early morning to late afternoon, while the second shift runs overnight. Please be aware that the hours for the second shift may be subject to adjustments.
