Job Summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill and convalescing infants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with neonatologists to develop and implement individualized care plans for infants in the NICU.
  • Provide specialized neonatal care, including delivery room resuscitation, stabilization, and initiation of treatment.
  • Prescribe diagnostic testing, medications, and therapies as needed.
  • Offer family support and education to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in unit committees and councils to improve neonatal outcomes and advance professional development.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Nurse Practitioner certification.
  • License as an Advanced Nurse Prescriber in the state of Wisconsin.
  • DEA number.
  • 3 years of clinical experience in a level 3 NICU.
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross and NRP certification.
