Job Summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), you will provide exceptional patient care and leadership to our critically ill and convalescing infants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with neonatologists to develop and implement individualized care plans for high-risk infants
  • Provide specialized neonatal care, including delivery room resuscitation, stabilization, and initiation of treatment
  • Prescribe diagnostic testing, medications, and therapies as needed
  • Lead and coordinate the efforts of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in nursing and medical staff education, consultation, and advocacy for patients, families, and staff
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure as an Advanced Nurse Prescriber in the state of WI
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience in a level 3 NICU
  • CPR certification and NRP certification
