About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at IntelyCare in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Compensation

The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $25-$35 per hour, which is 25% higher than the average rate. You will have the flexibility to choose your own pay periods, with options for weekly or daily payment.

Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities. Your duties will include:

  • Measuring and monitoring blood pressure and other vital signs, reporting any concerns to your supervisor as necessary
  • Observing the conditions of residents during your shift and reporting any concerns to the broader nursing team
  • Serving meals to residents and helping to feed them as needed
  • Supporting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, keeping residents' rooms clean, changing linens, and maintaining a hygienic environment
  • Serving as a conduit between medical staff and residents, and communicating with visitors
  • Moving residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and repositioning them as needed
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • A basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
  • Effective organizational skills and communication skills
  • An appropriate bedside manner
