Field Claims Supervisor

We are seeking a highly experienced Field Claims Manager to join our team at Bamboo Insurance. This role will be responsible for overseeing our field claims process and supporting our claims team in delivering accurate and efficient claim outcomes with the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage independent appraiser assessments and repair estimate quality
- Review and evaluate claim files related to causation, damage assessment, and loss scope
- Train and develop TPA field resources and QA teams
- Evaluate and assess TPA/IA performance
- Direct onsite involvement in claims involving significant exposures and potential SIU concerns
- Oversee daily workflow related to field investigations and damage assessments
- Provide constructive performance feedback to team members and TPA resources
- Complete daily file reviews to provide file handling direction and authority related to mitigation, pack outs, and repairs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong people management skills, including hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and development of field resources, vendors, and claims professionals
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in establishing rapport, credibility, trust, and positive relationships with all aspects of the claims operation
- Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work activities
- Skilled in working with standard office technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to cultivate a work environment that encourages and develops new ideas from direct reports and peers
- Strong technical skill set with overall property claims handling, including demonstrated experience in complex coverage investigation and assessment, assessment and evaluation of dwelling-related damages, and identification, investigation, and evaluation of potential fraud claims
- Ability to create and deliver an exceptional claim experience for all customers
- Strong time management skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of property claims supervisory experience
- Hold a current California adjuster license or successfully obtain one within 90 days of employment
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing vendor resources, including independent appraisers, managed repair resources, and other field investigation resources
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Field activity includes driving, onsite interaction with customers, repair contractors, public adjusters, and attorneys
- Overnight travel as needed
