bJob Summary/bbrbrAs a CLS III Lead, you will be responsible for supervising the daily operation of the clinical laboratory, providing consultative services to the medical staff, and overseeing the section/department performance improvement program. You will also be responsible for the technical and fiscal management of the section(s), ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.brbrbResponsibilities/bbrbr Supervise the daily operation of the clinical laboratory, ensuring the accuracy of patient results prior to releasing or reporting.br Provide consultative services to the medical staff, assessing staff competency and completing performance evaluations in a timely manner.br Oversee the section/department performance improvement program, ensuring the currency of all laboratory policies and procedures.br Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements, including CLIA and Joint Commission standards.brbrbQualifications/bbrbr Requires five years of clinical laboratory work experience that cover all areas of the clinical laboratory.br Bachelor's Degree in biological science, chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.br Current and valid California State License.brbrbWhat We Offer/bbrbrShasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs.
