Job Overview

The Food Server at Blue Bills is tasked with the efficient and professional delivery of food and beverage services to guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome guests and accurately take food and beverage orders, entering them into the POS system promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables throughout the dining experience and preparing tables for the next guests.
  • Continuously monitor guest needs to ensure quality service and food standards are met.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of menu items to provide recommendations and assistance to guests.
  • Keep all food storage areas, dining spaces, and service stations organized and clean.
  • Safeguard the assets of Three Rivers Casino and ensure accurate balancing of assigned cash banks.
  • Communicate any guest concerns or suggestions to management to enhance service quality.
  • Complete assigned side duties to ensure that wait stations are fully stocked for the next shift.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service with a positive attitude towards guests and fellow team members.
  • Adhere to health and personal hygiene policies set by the F&B department.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Team members may encounter secondhand tobacco smoke, particularly those working on the casino floor. The noise level is generally moderate but may increase during peak times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • Frequent lifting, reaching, twisting, bending, and squatting is required.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance.

Exceptional guest service is vital to the success of Three Rivers Casino Resort. Each team member is expected to embody our service commitments in every interaction, starting with the principle of kindness.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Obtain a Food Handlers Card/OLCC Permit within 30 days of employment.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Compliance with pre-employment, random, and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the department.
