About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Total Quality Team at Metalex Manufacturing, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to be part of a company committed to the future, investing in the latest technology and training to ensure our organization and our team is part of world-class manufacturing in the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Contract Review: Review customer purchase orders, drawings, and associated documentation to determine requirements.
  • Supplier Purchase Order Review: Ensure appropriate requirements are flowed down.
  • Quality Planning: Develop inspection reports and related inspection documentation.
  • Quality Documentation Management: Maintain customer, supplier, and internal documentation to be provided to the customer upon job completion.
  • Source Inspection: Schedule visits and work directly with customer inspectors when on site.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Notify and work directly with customers when part non-conformances occur.
Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years' experience working within Quality Assurance.
  • ISO9001 & AS9100 knowledge.
  • Experience working directly with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to read technical drawings & technical specifications.
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance, including data analysis and trending.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills (Root cause).
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Applications (especially, ppt, excel & word).
  • Previous experience in quality assurance or similar field.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and fully capable of multitasking.
  • Highly conscientious, diligent, and team-oriented.
  • Ability & desire to grow, learn new things, and take on new responsibilities as expertise elevates.
  • Strong technical proficiency must be able to use computers well and generate reports.
