Position Overview:
The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are kept in pristine condition while delivering exceptional service to enhance the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meticulously clean and maintain guest rooms in accordance with established standards.
- Prepare for cleaning by organizing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
- Efficiently remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms and common areas.
- Ensure that hallways, public spaces, and storage areas are kept tidy and vacuumed.
- Restock the housekeeping cart in preparation for the following day’s duties.
- Replenish cleaning supplies as necessary.
- Report any missing items from guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
- Immediately inform the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager of any maintenance issues.
- Handle lost and found items in accordance with company procedures.
- Strive to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently.
- Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing attentive and courteous service to guests and team members.
