Make a Difference in the Lives of Children

Spurwink Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team at the Center for Safe and Healthy Families. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychological testing and consultation services to children in the foster care system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations of children to inform treatment plans and support their well-being.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, child protective services, and other community professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Provide expert witness testimony as required and maintain accurate records of job-related activities.
  • Participate in team consultation meetings to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Maine licensure or eligibility to practice in the state.
  • Experience administering psychometric testing to children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
