Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Charge Nurse to join our Oncology and Urology team at Boulder Community Health. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of safe, patient-centered care while fostering a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the unit, ensuring efficient patient flow and timely admissions.
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of safety and quality care.
  • Manage staffing assignments to meet unit productivity standards while balancing patient acuity and staff capabilities.
  • Conduct shift huddles to communicate critical patient safety updates and practice changes.
  • Address patient safety concerns and collaborate with the Associate Nurse Manager for resolution.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and uphold nursing competencies.
  • Encourage professional development through mentorship and educational opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Current Colorado RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification encouraged.
  • Preferred OCN certification and ONS Chemotherapy certification within specified timeframes.
