Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Theriogenology service at the University of Missouri-Columbia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional animal care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with animal handling and care
  • Request and perform diagnostic tests
  • Order and stock supplies
  • Collect blood and semen samples
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and client communication
  • Estimate costs to clients
  • Manage the semen bank and maintain organization and cleanliness of theriogenology rooms
Requirements
  • Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology Program
  • Licensure as a Registered Veterinary Technician in the State of Missouri, or eligibility to obtain Missouri Licensure within 6 months after start date
