Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Conservationist to join our team at National Experienced Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical assistance support for the delivery of NRCS Farm Bill conservation programs at the Field Office and Area level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Assistance: Provide expert-level technical assistance to NRCS staff on conservation planning, resource data collection and analysis, decision support documentation, conservation plan and contract development, and case file management.
  • Program Delivery: Assist in implementing the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), including resource data collection and analysis, decision support documentation, conservation plan and contract development, status reviews of planned practices, collection and organization of practice/enhancement certification documentation, and case file management.
  • Training and Outreach: Assist in providing training on EQIP and CSP program delivery to NRCS field staff, and coordinate and conduct outreach events to promote conservation success stories and news articles.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in performing quality assurance reviews of EQIP and CSP program delivery at the Field Office level.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in conservation planning associated with soil and water natural resources, or a BA/BS Degree in Biologist or natural resources related field.
  • Skills: Valid State Driver's license, experience with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
