  • Oversee financial management related to distribution; conduct analysis for supply chain and operations, including warehousing and freight.
  • Manage daily accounting functions encompassing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory management.
  • Facilitate the processing of invoices, daily transactions, and expense reports.
  • Conduct month-end closing activities, including major account reconciliations and the preparation of income statements and balance sheets, while collaborating with the finance manager on variance explanations.
  • Maintain and update the accounting database to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Generate and sustain monthly and quarterly financial reports, including top customer analysis, in-transit valuation, budget comparisons, and material obsolescence reviews.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and/or accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with Sage 50 ERP is advantageous.
