Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Progressive Care Unit at Memorial Health University Medical Center. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within one of the largest nursing employers in the nation.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional, patient-focused care while overseeing all unit operations during their shift. Working closely with the management team, the CNC will:

  • Facilitate patient admission and discharge processes
  • Engage in continuous evaluation of patient care services
  • Collaborate with healthcare experts and fellow managers to foster a cooperative work environment
  • Uphold a patient-first philosophy and manage service recovery when necessary
  • Provide input on the recruitment, selection, and training of new nursing staff
  • Assist in staff scheduling and maintain effective inventory management
Qualifications Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree
