Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless operations within our healthcare system.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide essential clinical support to our medical practitioners, including conducting follow-up with patients, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will also serve as a liaison between patients, hospital, other providers, and practitioners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across our network.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Practicing the Gold Standard Behaviors
  • Using API and EBT appropriately
  • Dressing professionally
  • Maintaining confidentiality of patient information
  • Collecting, reviewing, and documenting patient's current health status and history

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need to possess:
  • CMA or CCMA certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
