Corteva Agriscience is seeking an experienced Electrical Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
- Review and lead electrical safety programs for the plant maintenance team.
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair any problem of any electrical/mechanical nature.
- Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures, including Environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures in everyday work routine.
- Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes, including the addition of new devices and hardware.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of Industrial Electrician/Maintenance experience.
- Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree within the Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical field.
- Journeymen license.
- Experience with a work order and part inventory system.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
- Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation, and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience.
- Experience with an E-Maintenance (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory.
- Four weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidays.
