We are seeking skilled psychiatrists at multiple programs and levels of care within our Eating Disorders and Mental Health divisions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced professionals in the industry.

Responsibilities
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for consulting with program leadership and operations teams to ensure effective psychiatric/pharmacological interventions. This includes completing initial thorough evaluations and seeing patients weekly thereafter. If necessary, medications will be prescribed and monitored by the Psychiatrist at least once a week. Additionally, the Psychiatrist will consult with the treatment team as needed and may attend weekly treatment planning meetings. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Developing appropriate psychopharmacological interventions for psychiatric disorders
  2. Interfacing with patient families for consent and support of interventions as required
  3. Effectively communicating criteria specific to treatment levels and formulating appeals for insurance carriers when necessary
  4. Contributing to case conceptualization, treatment plans, and assessing ongoing effectiveness of interventions
  5. Collaborating with program leadership to discuss individual treatment progress
  6. Representing the treatment program in interactions with insurance companies, licensing, and accreditation bodies
  7. Providing second opinion evaluations when needed
  8. Assisting treatment staff in treatment planning
  9. Providing medical direction to the treatment team
