Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team at UCHealth UCHlth CeDAR. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide top-notch behavioral health care to patients in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement counseling/therapy for assigned patients in individual and group settings, assessing patients and their families to determine needed services and interventions.
  • Participate in case reviews and care conferences to evaluate patient progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with discharge planning, identifying community-based resources and providing referrals as needed.
  • Utilize effective teaching methods to ensure patient/family educational needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPC-C), Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFT-C), Social Work Candidate (SWC), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
