About the RoleThis position offers a unique opportunity to work with children on the autism spectrum and their families, providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and contributing to our mission-driven care model.
We are committed to enhancing the lives of these children through our specialized approach, which draws from the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based form of ABA therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to high standards and ensuring alignment with intervention plans crafted by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Foster relationships with families, updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
- Engage in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
- Able to achieve and maintain RBT certification; Soar will provide paid training
- Previous experience working with children and enjoyment in this role
- Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center; punctuality is essential
- Meet physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
- Computer and tablet literacy
- Ability to work on a team
- $20.50 - $26.00/hour, with regular bonus and promotion opportunities
