Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Building Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Fox Service Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of our air conditioning and heating systems, as well as other critical building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including air handling units, chillers, and cooling towers.
  • Inspect and test fire prevention equipment, including fire pumps, standpipes, and sprinkler systems.
  • Operate and maintain Class E fire alarm systems and control panels.
  • Supervise external vendors for large equipment repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with management on current and outstanding issues.
  • Organize and prioritize work orders using Outlook and Building Management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, including those related to water treatment and fire safety.

Requirements:

  • Operating Engineer certification with Refrigeration of FDNY COF Q-01/99 and CFC Licenses.
  • Standpipe/sprinkler S-12 & S-13 COFs.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC plant operations and plumbing.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and various shifts, including overnight.
  • Membership in I.U.O.E. Local 30 union.
