Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our team at RadNet. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
  • Follow company-established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes under the direction of the radiologist.
  • Guide patients through the exam process, answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing patient discomfort or medical problems and taking appropriate action.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, responding to the needs of others.
  • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
  • ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License.
  • Venipuncture certification/permit.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
